Face of almighty appears in cartographical image app.
That's not God. It's Kenny Rogers.
totally stole that from digg
I want to know how they can prove that it's God. Who's got the proof that really is his face? Just looks like another old guy to me.
It's Slartibartfast's signature! - um, not a fjord though, is it?
thats not kenny rogers, its ted nugent!
I agree with BitterOldPunk. There's too close of a resemblance to deny Kenny the spotlight.
I'm pretty sure its Chuck Norris.
it's not a news story.
I disagree. It is absolutely a news story.
It is under "odd news" and as such qualifies, in much the same way as the mainstream news sites sometimes carry articles on pieces of toast that appear to have the face of Jesus on them etc etc.
hahahahhahahah that is so stupid. And the moon face is the God's Brother???? don't be fool with god!!! There's no god so they're is no god face in the earth!!!! Ho no, it was really the devil in the smoke of the burning WTC... c'mon!
Looks like the virigin mary to be. Truth be told, she was kind of butchy.
completely stupid
The comments are worth it, though.
I think it looks like Sean Connery.
Kenny Rogers is God?
any chance it could be Willie Nelson? It looks like he might have braids...
Yes i totally 'stole' that from Digg. Isn't that what seeding is? It slipped through there and I brought it here for our delectation.
Please, Mr Shark Attack, define 'news' for so that I can understand why this item doesn't qualify.
Maybe God returned as Kenny and this is the sign?
It's obviously a "Killroy was here" sign from our alien overlords...
...and so Newsvine starts down the slippery slope towards Diggdom, with front page "news" stories that aren't.
Have to go with Fennec on this one. Although I do agree that this is "news" (at least as much as what appears regularly in the New York Times - half of which seems to be closer to fiction) - the comments absolutely made this story.
god has a face? maybe it could be 'A' face of God but it's a bit presumptious to assume it is 'The' face of God.
...and so Newsvine starts down the slippery slope towards Diggdom, with front page "news" stories that aren't.
Oh please stop with the elitist BS. This is still a human interest news story. Every major traditional news outlet has stories like these in their pages.
Heh, I bet a Google programmer stuck that in there as a gag.
That's what I was thinking. It looks like it was Photoshopped.
